Custom Jewelry Ideas for Engagement Rings
All jewelry pieces were originally custom made. However, thanks to the advancement of technology like Computer Assisted Design and 3D printing, a whole new jewelry industry is blooming in every sphere. Today’s technology allows jewelry artists to experiment with various designs that are not just intricate but unique in every way. When it comes to buying jewelry we often follow the easiest approach to own a piece; i.e., opt for ready-made jewelry. We are tempted to lay our hands at what catches our fancy at the store display, overlooking the more intricate and individualized options that can be availed. Custom made jewelry is a time consuming process yet, none can deny the overwhelming personal statement it makes. Diamond Exchange Dallas has came up with this article to discuss this information. Listed below are some Custom Jewelry ideas for Engagement Rings:
Twisted Vine Halo Diamond Engagement Ring:
A scintillating round or princess or any diamond shape, embraced in a halo of diamond accents can be given a more alluring effect with intertwining vines running down on either side of the band.
Retro Inspired Engagement Ring:
Another unique option is to go for a ring that features a profound retro-inspired look and baguette cut diamond accents on each shoulder. The retro look can be achieved through stones like the deep red garnet.
Mixed Metal Vintage Halo Engagement Ring:
Opt for an offbeat look by introducing the concept of mixed metal bezel setting. For the center gem, you can opt for any stone of your choice, like sapphire or ruby and in a unique cut like a cushion or princess and have it surrounded by diamond accents in order to bring forth a vintage look.
Colored Gemstone and Diamond Baguette Ring:
You can make a mesmerizing ring by opting for a colored emerald stone and adorn the shoulder with four baguette cut diamond accents in a pyramid like style.
Floral Motif Halo Diamond Ring:
A halo setting need not necessarily be a simple display of diamond accents around the center stone. You can go for a more intricate and ornate design by opting for floral motifs in diamond accents. This will also render the ring a vintage appeal.
Pearl and Diamond Engagement Ring:
There is no hard and fast rule that only a diamond ring can complete an engagement. There are plenty of other beautiful options and one such endearing choice is the pearl. You can augment the look of the ring further by opting for beautiful patterns embedded with diamond stones on the band.
Double Bezel Halo Diamond Ring:
Instead of going for the usual single halo of bezel set diamonds, opt for a double halo of bezel set diamonds and encircle it around any colored gemstone like emerald, ruby or sapphire. The result will be a breathtaking engagement ring that will be accompanied by an exquisite vintage-inspired look.
Art Deco Inspired Engagement Ring:
A shimmering princess, oval, emerald or any diamond cut, with intricate Art Deco engravings on the band will create a detailed piece that will not just be unique but beautiful as well.
Diamond on an Asymmetrical Band:
Yet another way to create that unique look is to opt for a round brilliant, princess or a cushion cut diamond and with this as the focal point, opt for a pave setting on a completely asymmetrical band for that amazing effect.
Three Stone Embraced in a Diamond Halo:
Instead of embracing a single stone in a diamond halo, opt for three stones like sapphire, ruby or emerald of any shape and have it encircled with a halo of round brilliant diamond accents.
